knew the Princess was tired,
so they sought to find help
for the sleep she desired.

The Wizard of the Wood,
came without delay.
He would use all of his powers
to please and obey.

"Grant my daughter's wish,"
commanded the King.
From the Wizard's hand
came a flash from his ring.

Just as Sleepyhead whimpered,
"Leave me alone."
Poof! All save the Princess
were turned into stone.

"Careful what you wish,
for wishes come true,"
said the powerful Wizard
when the spell was through.
